September 10, 2007 - Verist Business Research Pvt Ltd, an Intellectual Property Solutions company located in New Delhi, India gears up to launch its Patent Drafting Software ‘Patent Caddie™’ on the 21st of September 2007.
Patent Caddie™ is designed to assist Patent Professionals and Inventors with drafting professional quality and professional looking patent applications through a software application that uses an easy Question & Answer based format coupled with an intuitive Backend processing system (patent pending).
According to Devinder Rawat, VP Services & Consulting at Verist and a member of the Patent Caddie Development team “Patent Caddie™ is designed to evolve. The 21st will be a start and by mid next year we will have versions for the US, EU etc”. He also adds that “Verist is in the process of creating synergies with various countries to create local versions for Japan, Korea, China and the Middle East”.
According to Arjun Anand, Founder and CEO of Verist “Patent Caddie™ does not and will not replace attorneys. It will perform two distinct functions. Firstly, it will assist attorneys who are reviewing or drafting patent applications and secondly, it will assist inventors who will draft and file themselves to ensure that they can reduce common errors which ordinarily lead to office actions”.
