July 10, 2007 - Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA - VarTech has recently released the ToughCube Industrial Computer. The ToughCube's quick release mounting system allows for fast replacement of the core computer to enable maximum uptime resulting in the highest level of productivity.
Although the ToughCube can be purchased separately, it is now the standard installed computer in VarTech's NEMA 4X all-in-one computers and workstations. The powerful ToughCube has a Pentium M 1.8 GHz processor, 1GB of memory and a multitude of I/O ports. System memory is expandable to 2GB, and the network capable industrial computer is pre-installed with Microsoft XP Professional. The hard drive is available in 80, 120 or 160GB sizes, and an HDD damping bracket is included.
