November 22, 2007 - Norwalk, CT - Phantom Data Systems Inc. a Connecticut based data storage solutions provider today announced a merger with Unia Telecom, a VOIP (Voice Over IP) solutions provider and Telecommunications vendor.
Phantom Data Systems Inc. provides enterprise class data storage, recovery and document management solutions. Unia Telecom is a Voice over IP vendor provider at both the enterprise and consumer levels.
According to Alani Kuye who led the merger/acquisition, the merger will provide a one stop shop for enterprise and consumer storage and voice data solutions. "It will make life much easier for our customers since they won’t have to deal with different VARs, Vendors and solution sets."
The merger is effective immediately. Both companies will remain under the Phantom Data Systems Inc. umbrella but operate as different divisions within PDSI (Phantom Data Systems Inc.). With operations in the US, India, Poland, and the Ukraine, Phantom Data Systems Inc. has taken yet another step in becoming a major contender in the VAR Space. Andriy Pehknik, co – managing partner at Phantom Data Systems Inc. will be handling international operations while Alani Kuye, managing partner will continue to preside over the organization.
