Valentine Honda in Richmond is celebrating its Grand Opening on February 14 which just happens to be Valentine’s Day and welcomes the public.
Formally known as Sam Swope Honda, the name change to Valentine Honda is now official and those at the dealership are excited about doing business under the family name.
“We take pride in our family name and by naming the dealership Valentine Honda we’re saying that we will always provide the best for our customers. Best in pricing and best in service.” Matthew Valentine, President stated, who is carrying on a family tradition. His grandfather owned a car dealership in Huntington, New York.
And that sense of family pride might be the reason Valentine Honda has continually had record sales.
“Valentine Honda is a family owned business, and we take care to treat our customers just like family members,” Tricia Valentine, Vice President noted. “Much of what has made Valentine Honda so successfully is word of mouth that we hold true to that premise. It’s just a friendly place to do business.”
Mrs. Valentine went on to tell of a recent a group of women who scheduled their cars for service at the same time. “It was like a ladies’ day out. They sat around drinking coffee, talking and listening to music being played on our grand piano. Show me another dealership that can match that.”
Now that the name change is settled, Valentine Honda is focused on the future.
