UTair Airlines and Domodedovo International Airport Celebrate a Decade of Partnership

This successful partnership has enhanced the route networks of both partners and facilitated leveraging the transfer potential of one of Moscow's busiest air terminals.
UTair Airline inaugurated flight operations from Domodedovo International Airport in 2002 with domestic flights to Surgut, Tyumen and Khanty-Mansiysk. Since these modest beginnings, UTair has diversified its route network to encompass not only the Russian regions, but the entire nation and destinations abroad as well. Since September, 2012, UTair has launched seven additional regular and charter flights from Domodedovo to Surgut, Tyumen, Antalya, Hurghada, Barcelona, Sharm El Sheikh and Lankaran.
Over the past 10 years the number of UTair passengers choosing Domodedovo as their preferred point of entry to Moscow and Russia has grown steadily. In just the first two years of cooperation, passenger traffic increased by 170%. Today, the 10 year of cooperation, UTair has served more than 2.78 million people at Domodedovo.

UTair Aviation is one of Russia's three leading airlines. In 2011 the airline's aircraft transported 6,750,425 passengers. From January to August 2012 the UTair Group served 34.5% more passengers than in the corresponding period for 2011. In 2012, the airline anticipates serving up to 10 million passengers. The airline operates a fleet of more than 200 aircraft and serves 110 destinations in Russia and abroad.
Moscow Domodedovo International Airport is the busiest airport in Russia in passenger turnover. In 2011 the airport served 25,701,610 people, establishing itself as one of the largest airports in Europe Classification ACI.
