February 12, 2008 - R.M.D. Corp. (RMD), a restaurant management company whose service group includes the world's largest Hooters franchise unit, will be rolling out US Beverage Net’s (USBN) draft beer control solution in two states. RMD will initially implement USBN’s services at its Clarksville and Jeffersonville locations in Indiana and its Dixie, Dupont, and Preston locations in Kentucky. RMD is the third Hooters franchisee to adopt USBN’s draft beer control solution. In 2007, USBN signed contracts with Hooters Texas Wings and Hootwinc, LLC to roll out its services in Texas and California locations respectively.

USBN’s patent-pending beverage monitoring platform accurately monitors ounces of draft beer poured, and compares that with ounces sold from the point-of-sale (POS) register. The web-based system allows restaurant operators to control draft beer variances (product lost due to wastage or giveaways), manage inventory levels to prevent out-of-stocks and reduce carrying costs, as well as monitor brand performance in real-time. By paying a monthly subscription fee, restaurant operators get access to all these tools via the web in addition to automatic email and text message alerts when their variance is beyond a set threshold or product inventory is running low.
