Urban Sustain is a 501 3 c non-profit organization equipping the next generation with the tools to live in a healthy inner-city environment in which the children are prepared to stand up for a better community through environmental stewardship. We transform lives of youth by raising social consciousness through education and leadership development on environmental health concerns in violence plagued communities.
Urban Sustain received a grant from the Heineman Foundation for Research, Education, Charitable and Scientific Purposes. The $25K grant, will allow Urban Sustain to expand its "Exposure 101" Environmental STEM program to reach more Chicago-area youth.
