Aptly titled Re:Route, the phase focused on the need for more effective and environmentally friendly urban transportation. |

Award-winning Urban Re:vision Takes To The Streets To Provide Residents With Free, Energy-efficient CFL Light Bulbs |
| On Sunday, August 19th from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., volunteers will visit over 40 homes in San Francisco’s Bayview District to exchange incandescent bulbs with energy-efficient CFL bulbs. Residents can also exchange their old bulbs at the Urban Re:Vision staging area for disposal in exchange for new CFL bulbs. The 1,000 free bulbs will provide a collective savings of approximately $15,000 a year. |

| San Francisco-based Re:Vision has announced the winners from the first of five jury selections as part of a unique international competition to create the National prototype for sustainable urban living. The first stage of the competition, titled Re:Volt, received hundreds of proposals which focused on innovative methods of incorporating “clean” energy into an urban environment. |
