June 27, 2007 - Spotsylvania, VA – Prophetic Minister from the Spotsylvania, county area of Virginia and former Washington, D.C. native, songwriter, producer Ron J. Brown is taking the gospel music scene by storm, young and middle age people (Christians), as he is used by God to inspire and encourage them with the message of Jesus Christ. Ron has shared the platform with ministers such as Benny Hinn, and has opened up for artists such as Fred Hammond & Radical for Christ. In 1997 Ron was voted a talent showcase winner at Howard University’s Blackburn Center and was sent to New York’s famous Apollo Theater where he went on to win, while there as a contestant.
Ron J. Brown’s debut CD release “Godality” is creating a major buzz everywhere that it is heard. It is ranked in the Top 40 of gospel releases by independent artists by some gospel media professionals and some local newspaper editor and journalists.
With musical influences such as Cr, Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin, and Usher Raymond, the project contains (14) songs, all of which are original material ranging in variety and style that has found favor with contemporary Christian, urban gospel, GO-GO, and Christian R&B audiences.
