July 21, 2008 - Southern hip hop is always on the go with artists constantly releasing fresh tracks while trying to accomplish number one on the charts. The problem is always “who stands out from the rest and why?” J.Colb, who is Georgia’s very own hip hop sensation, proves his place and standing within hip hop with his release of “Quiet Storm”.
Starting his hip hop profession at the early age of eight years old, J.Colb recited the lyrics of his preferred hip hop songs until he flawlessly memorized them for an impeccable performance. He rapidly moved on to be a neighborhood freestyle king when his friends joined him within different areas of town and he would freestyle over any instrumental he could find or have somebody become a human beat box.
"To me, it was important to know every word of all the songs I liked. It was like being a part of the song and I used to think I was killing it better than that artist sometimes, and it was their verse." Upcoming hip hop king, J.Colb said.
J.Colb, who is also the founder of Highly Hated Records, is planning on releasing his fan proclaimed song “Quiet Storm” as his first initial release. After his predicted booming release of “Quiet Storm”, his next hit “Slow Motion” will be released shortly their after.
With careful planning and accurate execution, J.Colb plans to take a step up within the hip hop industry. This month he has aligned his brilliant music career with Alonce Music Agency, who is an inclusive artist development firm for every genre of music. The firm plans on a valuable fan building campaign as well as distribution support for the talented hip hop artist.
J.Colb’s music is presently available for preview on his MySpace website, but with Alonce Music Agency’s prediction, “Quiet Storm” will be heard on radio stations along the south as well as available for sale with internet distribution companies.
