The company's reputation has traveled far, and a recent addition to the group of 66°North's happy customers are Ron and Kelly Meyer. Ron Meyer is the CEO of the film company Universal Pictures. The couple bought presents for the holidays to give to their family and friends in 66°North's online store. They chose the Glymur three-layer breathing material jackets, Esja Parka overcoat and Thorsmork Parka down-filled overcoat.
It is not known where the Meyers heard about the 66°North online store, although one can assume that it's not unlikely that the Icelandic Mr. Sigurjon Sighvatsson, a prominent Hollywood movie producer and one of the owners of 66°North, may have been enthusiastic in drawing people's attention to the brand.
A spokesperson for the couple says that they are very pleased with the garments, and hopefully will those who receive them as presents be as well. The Meyer couple are not the only ones who have 66°North outdoor wear as presents, as last year Yoko Ono bought one hundred Thorsmork Parka down-filled overcoats as Christmas gifts.
