Units Mobile Storage Donates Container To Local Church
Portable Storage Company is Active In Community Support.
- San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) May 14, 2011 - On Friday, May 6th, UNITS Mobile Storage of San Diego delivered four storage containers to Hope United Methodist Church. The local church plans to use the UNITS to store equipment and supplies for a "Patio Sale" fundraising event, to be held June 4th on the premises, located at 16550 Bernardo Heights Pkwy. Proceeds from the fair will benefit the church itself, helping to fund the various programs and services provided by Hope United Methodist.
Eager to support this local cause, UNITS not only donated one of the UNITS for a full free month, they also provided a discount on transportation for the entire order. Owner Lisa Steward is always on the lookout for local causes in need of portable storage, having donated to several other church programs in the past. These include one for collecting jackets and blankets for the homeless and another that is still currently on-site.
Regarding the UNITS of San Diego philosophy on charitable contributions, Lisa had this to say: "To be a successful business, it is important to be an integral part of the community, and part of that responsibility is participating in charitable activities."
