At the young age of 16 Koroush is the youngest ever member of the senior national swimming team of Canada.
He is also the first ever Persian on the Olympic swimming team of Canada.
During his interview with ICT TV; he mentioned that Canadian Federal Government spends $60,000 on average on each inmate in the federal prisons. While it spends almost nothing on the young Canadian athletes. He concluded in his interview that if the Canadian government spends a bit more money on young athletes maybe there will not be so many of them ending up in prison.
