May 28, 2009 - Unicon Investment Solutions, a financial services company conducted a placement program at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar and selected 38 MBA students for their Delhi Office. In the initial phase the students will be joining as management trainees at a pay package of Rs. 1.8 lakhs per annum.
A total of 71 students took part in the selection test which comprised of a written test and a personal interview. Mrs. Rashmi Mittal, Executive Dean-LPU expressed her satisfaction over the student’s performance by saying that 38 of the University’s students getting placed said that “ It is a satisfying news and a proof of LPU maintaining its tradition and defying the popular notion that recession has hit job placements in colleges.” She offered her best wishes to the successful students for bright professional careers ahead. Ms. Kirti, one of the successful students said “I’m enthusiastic about joining the financial services company. It will give me vast opportunities to learn about financial management.”
