April 08, 2009 - Principle First, one of the UK’s fastest growing Chartered Financial Planning firms, have unveiled their brand new personal finance blog. The blog is designed to deliver up-to-date and topical personal finance advice to both clients and non-clients alike.
As company founder Gareth Flanagan explains, “Personal finance is always changing. Every time the Bank of England changes interest rates or the stock market moves, people’s finances are being affected. Unfortunately even the most proactive amongst us is unlikely to review their pension every week or compare their mortgage rates every month. With that in mind we wanted to create a simple way to help our clients, and the general public, keep up-to-date with important changes that could effect them.”
“A blog seemed a perfect solution and while it might sound technical or trendy, it simply means that we’ll be updating our site with new tips, strategies and advice a few times a week. Anyone who wants can simply visit the site to access the information for free or, even better, get the updates delivered directly to him or her by email. There is no cost and it’s open to anyone with an interest in their personal finances.” he continued.
The new blog is the latest in a series of moves by the company to help make personal financial advice and personal finance products more accessible to the general public – something which Principle First takes very seriously.
“The company was founded on the idea of delivering the best possible advice to our clients and doing it in a way that suited them – personal, professional and pressure-free. That ethos has helped us become one of the fastest growing financial advice firms in the country and drove us to achieve Chartered status last year. More importantly, it’s also what drives us to create new tools and resources for our clients and visitors to our website. If we can make understanding personal finance just that little bit easier then it’s something we need to do.”
The blog can be accessed via the Principle First website at www.principlefirst.co.uk/blog and while the advice given is necessarily general, it’s a great way to keep up-to-date with the kinds of questions you need to be asking about your personal finances.
