March 28, 2008 - The University of the Incarnate Word Athletic Department welcomes all fun seekers to the UIW 3rd Annual Spring Fling and Turbo Turtle Race April 12, 2008 from 12 noon to 5 pm. The annual fundraiser is held to assist participating athletic teams and student organizations of the University. This fun filled event will be held along the headwaters of the San Antonio River on the UIW campus located at 4301 Broadway San Antonio, Texas 78209-6318. Food booths, music, games and 3000 turtles racing down the San Antonio River will highlight this entertaining event. Race to begin at 4 pm.
Turtle adoptions are only $5.00 per turtle and gives you the chance to win up to $20,000 or one of 20 other top prizes. Admission, music and fun are free, so come on out and enjoy the festivities.
