Now in its second launch the co-op has spread to other radio stations and can now be heard on over 700 stations across the United States and Canada. The target listenership for the Reverse Funnel is obviously the entrepreneur which is why the co-op has centered its efforts around the news talk and sports talk formats due to its targeted listenership, but they are now finding that the ad spot does well in all types of radio.
As a result of the success of these co-ops, more and more members are rushing to join up only to be denied due to the co-ops filling so quickly. Instead of walking away with their heads down, these members have come up with even more creative ways to access the huge audience the radio has to offer, the joint venture. These members are joint venturing with the radio stations and getting thousands of dollars of radio advertising for free, yes that’s right, free.
