Stevens III have been selected by the American City Business Journals for inclusion in the 2014 "Who's Who in Energy" list, which recognizes the top energy leaders throughout the United States. This marks Mr. Sarfatis' first appearance and Mr. Stevens' fourth appearance among the movers and shakers in the energy industry.

    Mr. Sarfatis is a leader in Gardere's highly rated Energy Industry Team and the Firm's Chemical and Refining Industry Team. His practice focuses on general corporate and securities matters, financings and contract negotiations, including the representation of buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions, the representation of investors and companies in venture capital investment transactions and general business matters. Mr. Sarfatis represents energy clients in a wide range of practice specialties including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, finance transactions and securities, and serves as outside general counsel for major energy companies.

    Mr. Stevens serves on Gardere's Board of Directors and is a member of the Firm's Energy Industry Team. His practice includes a broad spectrum of corporate, securities, energy, energy services and international transactions. Mr. Stevens represents issuers and private equity funds in mergers and acquisition transactions and all forms of debt and equity financings. He also advises executive management groups of public and private companies on compensation and related matters.
