Tumri Named As Finalist For Two American Business AwardsSM

Leader in Dynamic Display Ads Recognized by the American Business Awards for its Impressive Performance in HP and Sears Rich Media Online Campaigns.

San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) June 23, 2009 - Tumri, the leading provider of dynamic and intelligent display advertising solutions, has been named a finalist in two advertising-related categories in the 2009 American Business Awards. Tumri was selected among a multitude of entries, to compete as a finalist for “Best Computer Hardware Advertising Campaign” for its executions with Hewlett Packard and “Best Retail Advertising Campaign” for its executions with Sears.

Commonly known as "The Stevies," the American Business Awards is the only all-encompassing program honoring outstanding performance in business across the United States. More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories.

Tumri was selected as a finalist for its work with Hewlett Packard’s Holiday Campaign, which featured several timely sales events throughout the holiday season. The campaign included different awareness messaging, select co-branding, unique promotions and varying products merchandised within the advertisements that ranged from PCs, laptops, printers, and other computer-related equipment. In total, the series of HP Holiday campaigns reached over 140 million US unique users with approximately 4,000 unique creative and messaging combinations, all while delivering ROI performance on par with search.

Furthermore, the American Business Association deemed Tumri as a finalist for the Sears Holiday 2008 campaign, which launched ahead of Thanksgiving and continued through the year’s end. For Sears, Tumri promoted up to 20 sales events and was able to rotate sale messaging and product offers without re-trafficking ad tags or creative assets with publishers, thereby enabling consistent media and creative optimization. In addition, Tumri leveraged rich contextual targeting data from media partners, marrying products merchandised in the Sears AdPod to the contextual topics of the web pages the ads were served on. This matching of products and messaging to targeting variables resulted in a significant increase in online orders. Y&R Chicago provided design for the campaign.

“Tumri’s nomination at this year’s American Business Awards underscores our commitment to delivering a next generation advertising platform that transforms the way advertisers communicate with their consumers,” said Calvin Lui, president and CEO of Tumri. “Through Tumri’s AdPod, marketers can deliver more impactful advertising experiences that are more timely and targeted in nature. This leads to better performance both from a consumer satisfaction and brand health perspective, while also delivering greater ROI in each campaign. We are honored to be recognized for this distinction and will continue to drive innovation in the online advertising space.”

“Despite very tough economic conditions, many organizations and individuals continue to perform well,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. “The results of the 2009 ABAs thus far are a testament to the resilience, creativity, and hard work of American organizations, executives, and workers.”

Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 22 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Six-hundred executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network and hosted by Cheryl Casone of Fox Business Network.

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from among Finalists in final judging that will continue through June 3. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May.
