August 27, 2007 - T.A. Productions announced, today, that they are preparing to re-release and reissue the entire Bum Bar Bastards prank phone calls series on CD and DVD Discs. Previously only digital download files were readily available for fans and collectors, hard copy CD and DVD discs were difficult (and nearly impossible) to obtain.
Both Bum Bar Bastards LLC (the copyright holders) and T.A. Productions (exclusive distributors) have agreed that the Legendary Prank Calls Series needed to be reissued and re-released in large quantities on CD and DVD discs.
“Even though we have been very successful with digital download files, many fans continue to ask about CD and DVD discs. We have found that many people want to own what they buy and thus we are re-releasing everything on CD and DVD discs.”
T.A. Productions and Bum Bar Bastards LLC will be adding a brand new CD release to the lineup. The never before released CD is titled “Tube Bar Red’s Bootleg Tape [REMASTERED]” which as the title suggests contains the original cult-classic bootleg recording that circulated around in the 1980’s cleaned up and digitally remastered. Additionally it contains the original unaltered recording, the famous “Ode to Red” song by Rikk Agnew and the long, lost “Last Call to Red” which has been retransferred, re-edited and remastered due to complaints from the original release on the D3 album.
“We are very excited to have Rikk Agnew on this release. Rikk is a professional and well known musician who has played in bands such as The Adolescents, deathrock band Christian Death.”
The entire Bum Bar Bastards album library will be available in Sep. 2007 from retail outlets such as Amazon (www.amazon.com) as well as their own website (www.bumbarbastards.com).
