July 23, 2008 - Today a trio of local business women – Minh Nguyen, Nhung Mach and Tuyet Bui – announced the launch of their latest business venture, Topaz, a trendy new boutique to open at Kent Station later this week.
Located at 444 Ramsey Way next to Road Runner Sports, the chic boutique will be open for an exclusive VIP preview July 25 and 26 from noon to 8 p.m. During the store’s VIP preview celebration, shoppers and guests will be treated to appetizers and drinks and VIP discounts of 15 to 20%. The store will officially open for business in early August.
Catering to women who love affordable fashion, Topaz will feature classic and beautiful pieces by contemporary designers including organic tops and dresses, denim, dresses, t-shirts, blouses, trousers, hoodies, sweaters, wraps, coats, jackets and a variety of unique accessories such as shoes, scarves, tote bags, clutches, hats and more. The majority of items are priced under $100 with select items like special occasion dresses and coats priced up to $160.
Known for their steady flow of new, unique merchandise at their popular Peridot Boutique in lower Queen Anne and their helpful sales assistants, the women are excited to bring a trendy fashion boutique to downtown Kent to help shoppers find that perfect piece or to build a stylish wardrobe.
“We want women in Kent to have a personal shopping experience with our fashionable updated trends,” Minh Nguyen said. “We love creating outfits that work for different styles and personalities and finding unique pieces that can be worn many ways.”
Tuyet Bui agreed, “We want each client to put together a whole outfit for an evening out without having to worry about someone else wearing the same thing.”
The women also own Peridot Boutique located at 523 First Avenue West in Seattle and Peridot Nail Salon at Kent Station. Minh Nguyen and Nhung Mach have been best friends since childhood. Tuyet Bui is Mach’s sister.
