Trinity Academy Of Raleigh Student Receives 2009 Raleigh Fine Arts Award

Jack Twiddy Recognized In Annual Literary Contest.


Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) April 19, 2009 - Dr. Robert Littlejohn, headmaster at Trinity Academy of Raleigh (www.trinityacademy.com), has announced that Jack Twiddy, a tenth grade student at Trinity, has received an honorable mention award in the 2009 Raleigh Fine Arts 31st Literary Contest. The contest is a short story writing contest to encourage creative writing among students at the eight Wake County high schools. Twiddy received a $25 award for his submission entitled “Unjust War” at the March 31 awards ceremony, held at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts. More than 700 manuscripts were approved for submission and 49 were selected as finalists.
