Portland-Vancouver, OR-WA (1888PressRelease)
June 26, 2008 - Tree Records has signed it's first International artist, British electric and acoustic guitarist Chris Adams. Chris has been recording and performing 'live' since 1999 with the aim of carving out an instrumental rock career for himself. It did not take long for him to start writing his own material and today he is recognised as a highly accomplished composer/performer of both rock and classical material.
By 2002, Chris Adams had joined forces with John and Geoff Whitbread, described by Chris as "two brothers with phonomenal talent." John's vocal technique and Geoff's drumming skills meshed marvelously with Chris' guitar playing. These musicians, perfectly in sync with each other, lead to a move to the more tradional song-based format.
Chris Admas is still writing a mix of instrumentals and songs and has additional singers he can call on for recording sessions and 'live' concerts.
Epic Rock at it's best and Chris has the same skills and abilities that made all the modern greats of guitar playing so he is well placed to become as well known as Eric Clapton...with time. He certainly has the talent, the skills and the desire to make excellent music.
Tree Records will be releasing two early Albums by Chris in the Digital Format and issuing to iTunes, Napster, Tradebit and many more digital delivery sites. CD Baby of Portland, Oregon in the USA will be distributing hard copies of these Albums as well. The first two titles are "So Far" and "Sozo" which have been solid sellers for Chris in the past so their re-Issue now will make the material available once more for his fans and new followers. The first two Albums are due out in early-mid August but could be available at CD Baby's own website in late July.
