Tree Records is an small Independent Record Label formed in 1969 after the major Labels refused to release a Single Dene Kellaway had produced. Philips NZ offered him a manufacturing/distribution deal and Tree was created. The Single was a huge success despite the major's claiming it would never sell. Tree issued 15 singles, 3 EP's and 4 Albums before recessing in 1978. Re-activated in 1996 with the 2 CD Set "Kiwi MAde Music" and launched globally with digital downloading in September 2007 via CD Baby, iTunes, Tradebit and Napster Sites.
