April 18, 2007 - Functionality with Autodesk’s latest CAD platform now available
Transoft Solutions Inc., developers of the software for the engineering and architectural design community, officially announced that its entire product line has been tested and fully functional within AutoCAD 2008 (and its vertical applications), Autodesk’s most current CAD platform release.
Transoft Solutions’ suite of productivity boosting software include: AutoTURN, ParkCAD, GuidSIGN, and AeroTURN.
Steven Cheng, VP of Development at Transoft Solutions, stated, “We are pleased to say that Transoft products are now compatible with AutoCAD 2008. A year ago, major effort was needed to port Transoft Products to AutoCAD 2007. Compared to that, AutoCAD 2008 support was a relatively straightforward process. Our quality assurance team proactively tested early beta versions of AutoCAD 2008 to make sure we uncovered any incompatibility issues. Now that the commercial release is available, formal quality assurance procedures were followed to make sure all our software is fully supported.”
Transoft's product manager, Michael Frost further added, “We have to ensure that all our products work seamlessly with the latest CAD platforms before being released to the public. Through our due diligence, we want to make certain all our engineering and architectural clients have the right tools so that their time and efforts are optimized for their design work.
