Founded in 2001 by former service line leaders from Andersen’s risk consulting practice and experienced individuals from IBM, HP, and Perot Systems, Transcendent Group's consulting practice has been steadily expanding to meet the needs of a growing industry as well as the needs of their clients.

Such hands-on classes include IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), VMware virtualization, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Boot Camp and other security courses, as well as other disciplines covering wireless network administration, basic computer foundations, information security, UNIX, and business continuity and disaster recovery.
