April 21, 2007 - TigerRun’s 2006 NYC Marathon Event was made possible through the generous contributions of several parties. Mitch Kogen and Jesse Wellner financed the event at Fredericks, which featured an open bar and hors d’oeuvres. Messieurs Kogen and Wellner are executives in the tele-communications industry and are both passionate about supporting wildlife initiatives. “It is my great pleasure and honor to be associated with such a worthy cause,” says Mitch, “besides, my sponsorship guarantees me an invitation to next year’s event.” We’ll see you there Mitch!
Speaking of future events, asTigerRun is committed to maintaining 100% efficiency of funds raised, we hope to attract more corporate sponsors to cover costs, preferably from companies that benefit from wildlife symbols.
For the November 2nd event, Tiger Beer, a fast-growing Singapore-based brewery, donated four cases of beer to the party. This marks the first step for TigerRun in attracting sponsors to support the animal they use to brand themselves with.
Finally, representatives from Social Life Magazine were also on hand at the event. Justin Mitchell, the magazine’s editor, assisted with promoting the event and generously donated his camera staff.
