August 29, 2007 - New York, NY – Toyota of Colchester located in Colchester, Conn., was named recipient of the 2006 Toyota Motor Sales President’s Award. The 21st annual award was presented to a select group of dealerships across the country. It is the 4th consecutive year they have received the President’s award. The Toyota of Colchester ad will be featured in local subscriber copies of the August 27th issue of TIME Magazine, available Friday, August 17th.
Toyota Motor Sales recognizes its finest dealerships with the prestigious President’s Award. This is an honor given to those dealerships that have demonstrated a commitment to maintaining Toyota’s high standards for customer satisfaction. In order to qualify as a President’s Award winner, dealerships must excel in delivering great products and providing stellar customer care in all areas of dealership operations.
Toyota of Colchester has also been recognized for ongoing community support with the Blow the Whistle on Asthma Walk. The event raises money for the American Lung Association of Connecticut. Events like the walk help provide resources to support statewide programs and services, as well as research efforts. In addition to giving directly to the organization, the dealership also donated a portion of the price of every vehicle sold during the promotion.
