About TORO
TORO was founded in Q1 2007 by Mr. Laurent Renard and Mr. Gregory Puente-Castan, two veterans from the smart card industry. With expertise in secure transactions and innovation strategy consulting, Renard and Puente-Castan decided to set up TORO to bring value to the NFC ecosystem through developing a platform for services. They saw that without real services and a good user interface; NFC would remain a mere technology, but nothing that users could make their own. TORO is also the official organizer for MobileMonday Taipei chapter. MobileMonday is a global community for mobile industry. There are total 50 chapters in all the major cities in the world. The Taipei chapter was established in April, 2007. |
