Country’s top software service provider, UFIDA, targets to boost Offshore Outsourcing revenue to a fifth of sales by the year 2007 or 2008 from mid-single digits now. The company is expecting to expand a minute global footprint and compete with the Software Development giant likes of Microsoft Corp. and others. As far as UFIDA is concerned it is already Asia's second number service provider of software that assists streamline business functions and operations grew overseas revenue by about eight times in the year 2005. The company is doing well in the Asian region for Software Services and has a big brand name. Now the company is targeting to compete with Microsoft and other IT Giants. UFIDA is China’s one of the top most and leading IT Companies. Company is also commanding 24% of a Chinese market for enterprise resource planning share. Company’s total revenue crossed 38% in the last economic year.
Overseas Software Development
UFIDA’s target is to increase the revenue of their Software Outsourcing business to 15% to 20% of the overall sales in about three to four years. Company also wants to become an international company as far as the Software Development process is concerned. At present company has lion share in the Chinese IT Market. Overseas Development is one of the company’s long-term strategies and company is expectating the best outcome from this. According to UFIDA, Chinese IT Companies who are willing to compete in the International Market must shift to International Organizations first and than should eye on targeting the overseas market for Software Development services.
