February 27, 2008 - Horton, Inc. has appointed Tom Kleich to the position of sales team manager. Kleich worked at Horton previously as customer service representative, product specialist, manager of product planning, and OEM account manager. Most recently, he was with Phillips and Temro Industries as an OEM sales engineer/account manager, serving a variety of truck manufacturers worldwide.
“Tom’s knowledge of Horton products and his prior experience with our customers will be a great benefit to Horton,” said Jeff Lindgren, vice president of sales and marketing. “He’ll be able to pick up the telephone and reconnect with his clients immediately.”
Kleich has worked in the heavy-duty engine components market for over 20 years. He has training in auto and diesel mechanics, an associate degree in electromechanical technology from Chippewa Valley Technical School in Eau Claire, Wis., and a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis. He has received many sales and recognition awards during his remarkable career.
