March 08, 2009 - Eastport, NY – The 2009 release of “Dust in Your Hands,” a new country rock music CD by Tom Hood and The Trailmen, is just what fans have been waiting for.
“Dust in Your Hands” follows the well received 2008 release of “Riding into Town.” Both CDs contain original music written by singer songwriter Tom Hood along with partners Paul Carden and Lauron Lewis.

“The inspiration for the Trailmen came while I was writing a song that reminded me of my youth when I would watch the singing cowboys like Gene Autry and Roy Rogers,” explained Hood. “There is a hint of that western style, but the band is really rooted in Americana, blues and rock. I spent a lot of time in the Bahamas and Mexico where I wrote some of the songs while nursing a hangover, or catching some fun in the sun.”
