To The Rescue. New Ambulance Donated To Rockland Fire Department By A.W. Perry, Inc

Local community and business leaders recently celebrated the addition of a new ambulance to the Rockland emergency response fleet. The $175,000, 2006 International Harvester ambulance designed for Advanced Life Support was donated by A.W. Perry, Inc., a real estate development firm which has done business in Rockland for more than 120 years ago.


(1888PressRelease) October 01, 2006 - Among those to commemorate the new addition were Kelli McKinnon, Vice-Chair of the Rockland Selectmen; John H. Spurr, Jr. of A.W. Perry, Inc.; Steve Leggett of A.W. Perry, Inc.; Charlie Williams, Paramedic and ALS Coordinator for Rockland; and Michael Sammon, Fire Chief of Rockland.

He added, “Growing up in Rockland and helping develop the town’s resources, I know that this fire department is among the busiest on the South Shore. We hope the addition of this new ambulance will make Rockland a safer and better place to live.”
