With Tire Lyna, a non-toxic, environmentally friendly gel-based air management system that is organic and biodegradable. Injected directly into the cavity of a new or used tire and wheel assembly, Tire Lyna is guaranteed to help control proper inflation by eliminating air loss due to porosity and bead leaks and by sealing tread punctures up to ¼-inch.
Just like we know that being green helps the environment, we in the trucking industry also know that properly inflated tires saves money. On average, our product has proven to save at least 2% in fuel costs. Not to mention the savings found from reduced tire maintenance costs, fewer blow outs, less downtime.
On September 12th, Lyna Manufacturing announced after nearly seven years of marketing to heavy equipment, RV’s and other large vehicles, the product will now be offered to the over-the-road commercial vehicle market. To mark the occasion Tire Lyna will be initially offered to the trucking industry with special pricing and packaging options and comes with a guarantee that it allows no less than a 5-PSI loss of pressure over the life of the tire tread.
Effective in tubeless tires operated from 2 to 160 PSI, initial offerings include a starter pack consisting of eight five-gallon pails of the product for $299 each and a free aircraft grade aluminum pump for installing the gel (a $149 value). In typical applications, five gallons of Tire Lyna will fill approximately ten 11R22.5 tires, which equates to approximately $30.00 for an 11R22.5 size new tire.
