Reston, Virginia/USA – Tigerlily Foundation (Tigerlily) is to be featured in the Cure Today/30th San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium newsletter discussing breast cancer survivorship, advocacy and the importance of education others about breast cancer.


(1888PressRelease) December 15, 2007 - Tigerlily Foundation (Tigerlily) is proud to be featured in the Cure Today/30th San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium newsletter, talking about her experience as a breast cancer survivor and her work helping to increase awareness globally.

“The objective of the SABCS is to provide state-of-the-art information on the experimental biology, etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of breast cancer and premalignant breast disease, to an international audience of academic and private physicians and researchers” (Cure Today). This international symposim is geared towards academians, physicians and researchers working in the breast cancer arena. Through lectures, presentations and symposiums, physicians from all around the world share breaking breast cancer information and research.

During this five-day annual symposium, the survivor story section of the newsletter features survivor advocates who are making a difference in the world of breast cancer and helping others.

Tigerlily Foundation is honored to be featured in this arena, as an organization making a difference in the lives of women around the world.

Founded in 2006 by a 32-year old breast cancer survivor, Tigerlily Foundation is dedicated to working to empower women to be responsible and educated when it comes to their health. Tigerlily is also dedicated to community outreach, via speaking, participating in educational programs, providing support though its Chemotherapy Buddy Program, Survivor Support Group, and its Funds for Families Programs among others.
