January 24, 2008 - The Women’s Center of Wake County has announced the 2008 date for the 4th Annual Bachelor Bid for Charity presented by The Wild & Wacky Wonderful Women of the World, a Triangle-based not-for-profit networking group for women ages 21-101. The King of Hearts themed event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. and will be held in the grand ballroom of the North Raleigh Hilton. Tickets are $40 in advance and $60 at the door with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Wake County Women’s Center.
The fundraiser, hosted by G105’s Randi West, will include a bachelor bid, silent auction, raffle, bachelor playground, hors d’ oeuvres, dancing and music by Bull City Syndicate. The silent auction will include prizes such as spa packages, a cruise to the Bahamas and a raffle for a $5,000 diamond ring.
