Miami, FL (1888PressRelease)
March 29, 2007 - A new wave of the future has set its claws on the music industry; small conglomerates of independent music business entreprenuers who team up to form large networks of musicians, artists managers, producers and the like, and they are simply not going away. As a matter of fact, one of them says that they want to take over the entire endustry and have the back up to do so: the threat, new media and delivery systems that other major labels will not be able to compete with.
For example IAG's (a music business network) webpage states:
I.A.G. is an entertainment conglomerate fromed by Priciano Pierre-Casseus, Rose Sanon, Junie Joseph and many associates in music. Located in North Miami, Florida, IAG is an independent public company striving to become a powerhoue in music, entertinament, investment and its many trade lines.
IAG'S Recording Group seeks to unite independent record labels under one umbrella and leverage their power in the industry to contend with Warner Brothers, Sony, EMI, and the other big four. With our resources and strategy I.A.G. can contribute directly to our society and the label's loyal fans.
The acronym IMEX stands for I'm Exclusive, because to us we are all different beings with relative exclusivity.
I.A.G. is not a record label, I.A.G. is a global management firm, I.A.G. operates over 12 different businesses which are currently under development. One Group known as the Tradeline Group manages retail products and the other group the Entertainment group manages media products. The investment group manages corporate investments.
After piling up on networking ventures, the business has ventured within Myspace.com to dominate the music scene with a business model that is currently kept secret among its executives. Every Day the company gets an influx of musicians that it must turn away at www.myspace.com/imexassociates but they (IAG) said that are working on a system for promoting over 1,000 myspace Musicians and has reopened communications channels for both fans and artists alike.
Sony BMG was not available to comment nor was any other Major labels in the industry willing to cooperate.
