November 21, 2008 - Washington, DC. TargetGov releases its own Economic Stimulus Package to help boost the economy and benefit every business owner who wants to learn how to sell its services or product to the federal government. Business people can attend the December teleconferences held by TargetGov at no cost. Registered attendees will receive the exclusive Toolkit created for each teleconference. “Introduction to Federal Government Contracting” will be held December 4, 2008 Thursday, 1:00 to 2:00 pm EST. This teleconference is designed for companies who are newcomers to or considering entering the federal contracting market. Attendees of this teleconference will learn how to register as a contractor, what the government is buying and when, how to target the right opportunities, how to reach the decision makers, as well as the keys to successfully winning Federal contracts.
“Certifications for Government Contracting Success” will be held December 16, 2008 Tuesday, 1:00 to 2:00 pm EST. Every year, over $92 billion in federal contracts are set aside for those companies meeting Minority, Disadvantaged, HUB Zone or other certifications. This one hour teleconference details how to qualify for certification, how to get certified and then how to use that certification to open the door to business opportunities.
All registered attendees will also receive the Toolkit document specifically prepared for the teleconference. The Toolkit contains all of the contact information and information covered in the session. Toolkits can range from 50 to 100 pages of detailed information and will save attendees countless hours of research.
The moderator of the teleconferences is Gloria Berthold Larkin, President of TargetGov and national Procurement Committee Co-Chair for Women Impacting Public Policy. She is an expert at government procurement and related business development and marketing services including minority certification services, contract development, GSA Schedules, proposal management and development, contract administration and federal contracting services.
