The Switch Effect by Mike Gilbert is a new business book available everywhere November 2007.

(1888PressRelease) November 02, 2007 - RICHMOND, VA, – Mike Gilbert was laid off from Reynolds Metals when he stumbled across an idea and turned it into The Switch 100% carbonated juice drink. He was sitting in a convenience store parking lot mixing soda water and juice when it spilled on his pants. He decided there has to be a better way. He eventually created The Switch drink which is now sold nationwide.

He has now written a new book called "The Switch Effect: A Real-Life Example of How to Become an Entrepreneur." This book provides a unique look into the entrepreneurial process. The author provides detailed information on how he came up with the idea and more importantly, how he was able to create a product, generate funding, and start a company in the competitive world of Coke and Pepsi.

The author will be featured on regional media in November and will begin a booksigning tour that will include taste tests of The Switch beverage. Books can be ordered at local bookstores or online at www.theswitcheffect.com.
