March 13, 2007 - Boca Raton, Fl. March 13,2007 – “As a college student myself, I couldn’t be more excited about our show airing on the OSTN” said Zac Rich, host/producer. “OSTN is an awesome concept that will enable students to view our award winning show on a global scale. This kind of exposure to our own student-peers and to the entertainment industry is invaluable to us.”
OSTN was launched in 2005 with the only 24-hour, seven-day global channel exclu-sively devoted to student-produced programming. It is delivered to 41 million users at 4,500 university member campuses and 36 countries around the globe. In 2006, OSTN added IP cable TV to its service, which delivers educational and foreign language TV channels to colleges and universities.
“The Rock Star Stories are going to be a great addition to our lineup,” said OSTN Pro-gram Manager, Maria Shuckahosee. “The pace and relevance of the music interviews are great. The production value is extremely high; the show ends before you want it to and that’s a definite sign of a well-made show.”
Swept Away TV-The Rock Star Stories is written, edited, filmed, directed and produced by a student team of volunteers. The not for profit show has been on the air for 7 sea-sons; a total of 165 episodes.
