The Project ION Virtual Reality Game Experience Is Born
Shoestring game developer 42 Creations has launched a crowdfunding campaign to finance their bold foray into the realm of virtual reality.
- (1888PressRelease) December 13, 2016 - Project ION is the code name for a crowdfunded virtual reality game experience in early development by 42 Creations. Our objective is to push the boundaries of virtual reality and defy whatever modern gaming conventions are necessary in order to create a unique game experience.
We chose ION as the code name for our project because it corresponds with the last three letters of a keyword trio that is the mantra to our approach: Immersion, innovation, and integration. While the project has no specific release date or deadline associated with it, a public version will be available in approximately 5 months. However, we consider ION to be the ultimate work in progress and will continue to update and support the project for the entirety of its life cycle.
