Visalia-Porterville, CA (1888PressRelease)
September 07, 2006 - To see one of London’s freshest emerging artist, join us at a Prestigious Art Gallery, from Tuesday 12th September till Saturday 16th September 2006. Centrally located, near to Goodge Street Station, this show promises to be an afternoon well spent!
Nicholas Bonham, former Chairman of Bonham's Auctioneers, says: "Geometric visions created with both colour and passion. I recognised Nathlyn as a fresh new artist with an angle on abstract art different to others I had seen. Her half-a-dozen solo and shared exhibitions in the past four years were preceded by three years at the Kent College of Art, where Tracy Emin studied.
In the past year since we met I have seen a growing maturity in Nathlyn’s paintings brought about by a confidence and a belief in herself that I have rarely seen in other artists. I predict a glowing future for Nathlyn Baptiste.”
The Artist, Nathlyn Baptiste, states, 'my work is a conscious decision to represent geometric shapes, acute angles and layers of transparent spaces, is my way of interpreting my perspective of memories through colours that cloud my subconsciousness. Art is a place where I analyse, dissect and divulge that there is something more to be seen.'
