The Muller Company recently announced that Biltmore Commerce Center in Phoenix, Ariz., Main Street Town Center in Santa Ana, Calif., and Westwood Medical Plaza in Los Angeles, Calif., have each received the Outstanding Building of the Year® (TOBY) Award by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
SUMMARY: The Muller Company's 4-story landmark "mid-century modern" building, the Taj Mahal Medical Center in Laguna Hills, Calif., has signed its first medical lease since the start of construction and the official rebranding of the project in March 2011. Suites from 700-5,600 sq. ft. are available. The Taj Mahal Medical Center is located across the street from Saddleback Memorial Hospital.
The Muller Company now owns and/or manages nearly 608,000 square feet of office, retail and medical space in San Diego County, Calif. With the growth of its portfolio, The Muller Company has added two property managers, Maya Hausmann, CPM® as property manager and Christina Kitchen as assistant property manager.
The Muller Company started construction on the $3 million renovation of its "mid-century modern" landmark building, the Taj Mahal Medical Center in Laguna Hills, Calif. The renovation of the 90,000 sq.ft., four-story building will take place over the next 15 months and is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2012.
The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Greater Phoenix, Ariz., awarded The Muller Company's Hohokam Towers in Phoenix the 2010 The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY®) Award. Hohokam Towers, which has since been renamed Sky Harbor Towers, earned the prestigious recognition in the Corporate Facility category for its excellence in office building management and operations.
The Muller Company has completed a $13.5 million refinance of Pinnacle Executive Centre and signed 11 leases and renewals totaling 84,864 sq. ft. valued at approximately $16.9 million. Pinnacle Executive Centre is a 110,110 sq. ft. five-story Class A office building located at 10920 Via Frontera in San Diego, which was purchased by The Muller Company, with their financial partner, in May 2007.
Tustin Centre Office Phase II in Santa Ana, Calif. was awarded LEED® Gold Certification for its exceptional green design and construction under the U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system for Core and Shell (CS). This is the first Core and Shell building to receive LEED Gold in California.
The Muller Company has recently completed nearly 180,000 square feet in new leases and lease renewals at Torrey Pines Court in La Jolla, Calif., and Main Street Town Center in Santa Ana, Calif. The total value of the leases is nearly $41 million and the recent lease signings at Torrey Pines Court brings the office campus to 100 percent occupancy.
The Muller Company has been awarded three new management contracts by DCT Industrial Trust, Inc., Bank of America, and a leading global financial services company. Contracts total over 1.9 million square feet.
The Muller Company, specializing in managing,investing and developing commercial real estate in the western United States, has added Lori Ann Haigh as the new Director of Business Development; and Susan G. Rosenblatt as Director of Asset Management. Previously, Haigh was the Vice President of National Sales at First American Title; and Rosenblatt was the Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank.
