August 26, 2009 - Amsterdam, The Netherlands - The Ministry of Cannabis, an Amsterdam based cannabis seedbank has recently releases Kandahar, Nepalese Dragon and Shanti, a new generation of cannabis strains.
“Everybody wants feminized seeds” says Saskia, manager of the company “a few years ago the people asked for regular seeds too, but now the interest is all for the all female strains”. If we compare the behavior of regular and feminized seeds once we plant them, the reasons of this success appear all at once.
The part of the plant that interest the growers is the female (unfertilized) flowers, where the concentration of resin and other active substances is maximum. Regular seeds can generate indifferently male or female plants while feminized seeds generate only female plants.
In this way, all the seeds will give an harvest, without the need to eliminate and destroy the male plants after 1-2 months. This will save a lot of money and time too, reducing the use of electricity and fertilizers. The space will be also used in an optimal way.
Ministry of Cannabis, considering these 3 new entries, has a catalog of 9 feminized strains. To find out more about these strains and their characteristics visit www.ministryofcannabis.com
