June 25, 2006 - Calgary, AB, Canada - Digital Infrastructures Inc. released their website, "The Memorial Wall". (http://www.TheMemorialWall.com)
The Memorial Wall is a simple concept of a website to memorialize passed loved ones. Memorials are simple and follow a very classical concept of using a virtual marble plaque. North American clients will be mailed a certificate of the location of the marker on the wall at no extra cost.
"Having visited many online memorial sites after my father’s death I became disappointed in the quality and approach of the websites currently offered. The standard design of today’s online memorial looks more like a content management system than a place to remember a loved one", said Wayne Frisch, Director of "The Memorial Wall".
The wall is divided into panels which each panel contains 12 markers. The wall can be searched by entering information on a search page.
Placing a memorial on the wall is simple. Each memorial contains a picture and information regarding birth and death.

"We are planning on keeping "The Memorial Wall" simple and classic in design and this is the principle that will guide the sites future development".
The Wall has also taken steps to start a new organization for online memorials in hopes to create moral and business standards for online memorial companies to adhere to.
“Our hope is for standards for online memorial companies to be developed through open discussions with participating members.” For more information regarding “The Memorial Wall” and the “Online Memorial Registry”
