May 01, 2009 - The Kid’s Institute for Development and Advancement, in partnership with UCI and CHOC, is announcing its first Visiting Professor Seminar on Autism and Social Development.
KIDA will be sponsoring a seminar on “Autism and Tragectories in Early Social Development” to be held on June 06, 2009 at CHOC, the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
The seminar will feature a lecture by Catherine Lord, Ph.D., Director of the University of Michigan Autism and Communications Disorders Center. Dr. Lord is an internationally renown clinical and research psychologist known for her work in the social and communicative development of children with autistic spectrum disorders.
Continuing to lead the treatment of Autism in Orange County with innovative, research-based programs, KIDA is committed to serving the children and families in the Autism community. This seminar is an opportunity for KIDA to share the expertise of Dr. Lord to the families and professionals of Orange County.
The event will be hosted by CHOC Neuroscience Institute, For OC Kids/ CHOC/UCI Neurodevelopmental Center, and the University of California Irvine, School of Medicine.
