July 03, 2009 - The Justinian Society and Foundation held their annual meeting and general election luncheon on June 10, 2009. The Honorable Louis J. Presenza was recognized at the luncheon for his many years of service to both Philadelphia’s legal community and the community at large.
“I have known Judge Presenza my entire life,” said Justinian Society Chancellor Gina Rubel. “Throughout his esteemed career, he has embodied the principles on which the Justinian Society and Foundation were founded including, fellowship, honor in the legal profession, the pursuit of justice, and a concern for public interest above all. We are privileged to count him among one of our own.”
At the 2009 luncheon, Justinian members also unanimously reelected the following officers for one-year terms:
Chancellor – Gina F. Rubel, Esq., President and CEO of Furia Rubel Communications, Inc. of Doylestown, Pa.;
Vice Chancellor – Edward J. DiDonato, Esq., Partner at Fox Rothschild LLP of Philadelphia;
Secretary – Roberta D. Pichini, Esq., Partner at Feldman, Shepherd, Wohlgelernter, Tanner, Weinstock and Dodig of Philadelphia; and
Treasurer – Gino J. Benedetti, Esq., Partner, Middle Market/Emerging Company Group of Dilworth Paxson LLP of Philadelphia.
Attorneys unanimously elected to serve three-year terms on The Justinian Society’s Board of Governors are:
