September 15, 2007 - Memphis,TN -- The John Willingham For Mayor Campaign Has Selected Memphis Sound Entertainment To Produce and Manage Special Two Day Gala Event! The event will feature performances by The Memphis Knights Jazz Orchestra, Renee Koopman, and others, including Senators, Representatives, and politicians! Special appearances will be made by Memphis sports broadcasting legend Jack Eaton, who will, in his own unique and legendary way, read a poem that he has composed specifically for the event, along with Memphis world-famous wrestler and entrepreneur Jerry 'The King' Lawler, who is also slated to say a few words.
The two day event will commence at The Shrine Temple, 5770 Shelby Oaks Dr. in Memphis, TN, beginning Sunday, September 16 with a Matinee Concert, Hors d’oeuvres & Tea Dance from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will also be a live auction.
