The $0.99 iPhone Election app (from Cascade Software Corporation) provides a daily snapshot of the presidential race.

The app was released for sale on Friday, 10/24.
It entered a crowded iPhone marketplace (where at least 6 other $0.99 apps provided poll data for the 2008 race)
On October 30 (just six days after release), the “Election” app was ranked 2nd (out of 46 “paid” apps in the “News” category) in Apple's iTunes popularity ranking.
