April 18, 2009 - The “Ask Kohnny” service is a free forum that provides bands and artists a place to ask any question they want answered, followed by a well thought out answer and response within 24hrs by Daniel himself.
As simple as the idea seems, there is clearly no place that exists on the Internet where bands are able to get their questions answered and given decent advice by an expert.
This new service will also be posted on the websites newsletter which is published weekly.
Ask Kohnny, will address issues such as how to get gigs, record label contracts, how to deal with major record labels, starting a record label, music promotion marketing, recording studio plans and much more.
It is so easy to read and absorb a ton of information that already exists on the Internet however a lot of it is skewed, un-true and has been compiled by armatures who probably less than the reader themselves.
In such a dynamic industry where there are no rules and the landscape is changing on a daily basis, Daniel Kohn has realized the need for one trusted source of information and help that bands can turn to for advice and guidance.

All who have had the privilege to work with Daniel Kohn in any capacity can tell you that everyone calls him by his nickname Kohnny – even his parents and wife
It would not do Daniel any justice to be referred to by in any other name….. hence ask Kohnny!
